King Janak's conversation with Shri Ram. He shows Ram the letter Sita left him and tells Ram that he is proud to have a daughter like Sita.

Janak asks Ram to visit Mithila because Devi Sunayana is unwell.Guru Vashishth permits Shri Ram and Lakshman to visit Mithila. Shri Ram meets Sita's mother. Devi Sunayana expresses her sorrow and displeasure at Sitaji's exile. Janak's spiritual advice to both Sunayana and Ram.

Chandraprabha, Sitaji's childhood friend, expresses her anger at Ram and Ayodhya and vows that no one in Mithila would give their daughters to Ayodhya ever again. Ram and Lakshman return to Ayodhya.

Lakshman asks Sumantra the reason for Ram and Sita's separation. Sumantra narrates to Lakshman the story of Sage Durvasa's curse to Lord Vishnu. Lakshman understands and comforts his brother, serving him always. Valmiki gives a spiritual discourse to Sita and Sita feels at peace. A few months pass.

Rishi Chavan comes to Ayodhya and visits Shri Ram's court. He tells Ram the story of Lavanasur and his ill treatment to the sages, requesting Ram to help the sages and kill the demon.

Shatrughan volunteers to fight and kill Lavanasur and Ram gives him permission.

Ram gives secret weapon which only can kill Lavanasur, to Shatrughan. He tells Shatrughan that once Lavnasur is killed, he should become king of Mathura.

Shatrughan departs with his army after taking the blessings of Guru Vasishta and his brothers.

He arrives at Valmiki's Ashram at the orders of Ram . Luv-Kush are born the same day and are blessed by Shatrughan. He performs their naming ceremony.

Shatrughana meets Rishi Chavan, who tells him the story of the war between Lavanasur and Mandhata. Rishi Chavan tells Shatrughan that he can only kill Lavanasur when he is without his Trishul.

Lavanasur worships the Trishul and Shatrughan challenges him. Lavanasur does not have time to take the Trishul with him and goes to the battlefield to fight. After a long battle, Shatraghan finally kills Lavanasur with the weapon Shri Ram gave him

Shatrughan becomes the King of Mathura and the rishis are released with due respect. The ministers of Lavanasur are replaced with Shatrughan's minister's from Ayodhya and Ayodhya's flag and the Raghukul emblem is spread throughout the city.

Ayodhya is rejoiced at Shatrughan's victory and celebrates. Ram, Bharat, and Lakshman are overjoyed and send adminitrative advice to Shatrughan. Sita sings a lullaby to Luv Kush and vows to make them strong and independent.Devi Sita and Sage Valmiki discuss the benefit of Astrology after Valmiki draws the horoscopes of Luv Kush.

Shri Ram hears about the under water pennance by Sage Agastya and goes to meet him when he finally comes out of the water. Agastya blesses Shri Ram and Lakshman and tells Ram that he is the father of two virtuous sons and that his sons will increase the glory of the Raghukul. Ram is very happy.

A few years pass and the childhood of Luv-Kush as the kids grow up:

Sita is working hard in the ashram. She takes no help from anyone and cooks and does physical labor by herself. She teaches Luv Kush to do their chores themselves and never to depend on others at any time in their life.

When Luv Kush are around the age of 7, Valmiki teaches them the initial stage of how to wield a bow. Yagyopavit ceremony of Luv-Kush .

A few more years pass and Luv Kush are now 12. The education of Luv-Kush advances as they learn physical labor, meditation and universal brotherhood like any other ashram children.

Valmiki advances in their education of arms. Luv Kush are now proficient in the use of bow and arrows and Valmiki praises them.
